The best way is to get an e-visa online. Beware to use official website (https://visa2egypt.gov.eg/). The visa costs 25USD - other websites will charge you more. Check also the list of countries that can apply for an E-Visa.

According To your country of origin, you might be able to purchase a visa on arrival at the airport (right before the customs passenger clearance, at the booths of “Bank of Egypt”).

Both the Cairo International Airport (CAI) and Sphinx International Airport (SPX) are approximately 1h taxi drive away from the convention space. Check both airports to get the best deal!

Easiest will be to take a taxi from the airport directly to the Sakkara Country Club (pinpoint below). If you buy a SIM card in the Airport (highly recommended) you can directly use Uber to see the prices. It shall not cost you more than 20€ the ride.

We will organize a spreadsheet to collect arrival flight information, so you can get in touch with other participants and conveniently share your taxi to the convention.

The days coming to the convention, we will be very busy getting everything ready. While we will not be able to organize pickups, we will put you in contact with each other so you can share taxi rides.

If you arrive alone and/or you feel uncomfortable in such a different environment, just reach out and we will definitely help you out!

The Convention Pass is the simplest way to participate in the convention, and includes a camping spot of your choice and with that access to the shared bathrooms and locker rooms on the convention venue.

While the upgrade to a room or glamping accomodation is optional, the convention pass does include everything else in the conventions! The following is a list of all you will have covered with the convention pass:

🌴   3 meals a day and snacks during the workshops
🌴   water stations to refill your bottles anytime
🌴   2 trips out of the convention venue (to the pyramids, and to the museum or markets)
🌴   The entry fee to the pyramids!
🌴   Full exclusive use of all the venue facilities (Pool, Restaurant, training areas, lounges) 

There is NO NEED to have any extra costs during the convention. However, you may want cash for the following extras:

• Soft drinks or alcoholic beverages at the restaurant (water is included throughout and tea/coffe in the morning as well)

• Entry ticket to the museum on the second day trip (the first day trip to the pyramids is all included)

• Anything you want to buy in the markets (obviously =D)

• Any tips you want to give the guides or drivers (we tip them ourselves as well)

• Horse rides or quad rides in the desert, which are offered by the venue in the early mornings.

The triple room has 1 individual bed and 1 queen size bed

While Wi-Fi exists and is provided at the reception and restaurant of the convention, do not trust its stability or its speed for critical actions. In Egypt, more investment is put in the mobile infrastructure than the landlines. Thus, getting a SIM card at the airport will be your best bet at having high-speed reliable internet anywhere in the convention and during your traveling.

Expect a SIM card for 10Gb to cost around 10€, or 20Gb for around 15€.

Weather data shows that typically, the temperature can go down to 18°C at night (exceptionally below), and it rises during the day reaching 24°C between 7am to 10am, and potentially 29°C at some point between 12 and 3 pm (not every day reached that).

This means, you will need a light blanket or sleeping bag during the night, and perhaps a sweater for the first minutes of the morning yoga sessions or the evening therapeutics. The rest of the day you will run very comfortably in fully summer attire.

The convention begins on Sunday 20th at 14h with the opening circle and the first acro workshops. Lunch is not included and Dinner will the first included meal. However, if you arrive before, you can conveniently get a lunch at the venue's restaurant

The convention ends on Saturday the 26th at 14h with lunch, which is included. There are not any further activities planned in the afternoon, but you can still jam and enjoy the pool the rest of the day. If you decide to stay one extra night, your dinner and breakfast will be included in the venue as well.
