The Teachers
DUO DIE
Dane and Caitlin started training acro together in 2013 and quickly fell into a routine centred around foundational drills and dynamic progressions.
Since the creation of Duo Die in 2014, they have been workshopping, performing, coaching and learning around the world! Their goal as a team is to spread their love of acro, through hard work and smart training.
They are constantly looking to evolve their technique in training and teaching, all the while working towards a long life of partner acro together.
Through their focus on communication and collaboration, they have developed a coaching approach that has the potential to make acrobatics fun, successful and sustainable for a lifetime!

JOSH & CLOÉ
They are amazing circus artists, teachers, and lovely human beings to the Egypt Acro Convention experience! With them we will enjoy high quality inputs applied to standing acrobatic techniques and dynamics for the second year in a row.
Josh and Cloé are a contemporary Duo in performing arts from Switzerland who started working together in 2017. Ever since, they joined various hand-to-hand and physical theatre programs and graduated in 2022 from the professional circus school INAC in Portugal. Influenced by their backgrounds in sports acrobatics, martial arts and dance they move gracefully and create their own style of flowy never stopping partner acrobatic movements. Their creations are an unique mix of physical theatre and circus telling stories and asking questions. Besides their own creations, they worked/are working with companies such as Cie XY in “Les Voyages”, Cie ConTakt in “Foley” and Cie Black Stroller in “What was I going to say…?”.
Alberto
Alberto has been training, performing and teaching for over 20 years in the performing arts (dance, circus and theater). He develops an artistic & acrobatic research and transmission called “Acro-Contact Partnering”. Approach in partnering acrobatics through the movement. Its axes of creation and transmission are based on physicality, playfulness, sensitivity, listening and body language.
He has created and performed various multidisciplinary performances indoors and for public spaces: solo, duo, collective and in collaboration with other international companies. Currently, he presents the show “OM” and his solo “Make me a Man”.
SAFE ACROBATICS
Tanja Urankar & Ales Hren are „The Slovenian Acro Couple“. They are teaching workshops and retreats worldwide and are the founders of SAFE acrobatics. For both the essential part about Acro is building up trust, doing the most challenging tricks in the most effortless way and having lots of fun. They are highly experienced in laying and standing H2H and F2H, but they also love crazy washing machines, whips, pops and icarian. Teaching together, they focus on adapting to their students' levels and help them to increase their acro skills. Giving small but important details on the complex movements and encouraging people to take new challenges by respecting their own body and individual level, is their specialty.
RAJA & HANADI
If Acroyoga were a woman, Raja would marry her. Yes, Raja deeply fell in love with the practice. Acroyoga has helped him immensely with his OCD, anxiety, and depression. He wants to use it as a tool to spread happiness and joy among people no matter the age or size. Raja sees acro as more related to the mind than to the body and physical strength. He also loves puns, and when you hear them, yogana love them.
Hanadi found her passion for gymnastics and acrobatics at a young age. In the national top three in Lebanon for ten years, Hanadi has been coaching aerial, gymnastics, juggling and balancing for many years. Physical education teacher, she also enjoys performing various gymnastics and circus shows locally and abroad. And of course she's also into partner acrobatics !! 🤸🏻♀️
We are extremely excited to have our teachers from neighbouring Lebanon for the third time in a row.
